First let me say that I am under no illusion that corruption is new to the hollowed halls of Washington DC. The fact is that at many times in our nations political history corruption has raised its ugly head, nor has it been confined to Washington, corruption can and has been found in all levels of our government. Yet today the cancer of corruption permeates the very heart and soul of our federal government, if we are to accept what seems to be a never chain of scandals coming out of Washington corruption and abuse of power must be standard operating procedure for the Obama administration and the many in congress that support him.I can only use conjecture as to why this is, perhaps it is because the president was indoctrinated into politics by the Chicago democratic machine long known for its overt use of corruption. Perhaps it might be because our President espouses the tenets of progressivism, a belief that considers moral ideals to be old fashion, out of date and believes the ends do justify the means. What I ask you can we expect from a President that goes so for as to decide which laws the federal government will enforce and which laws it will ignore? It also has certainly become clear we have a congress controlled not the will of the American people but by the will of President Obama and his web of corruption. I don’t have all the answers, but this I do know; the way in which the Obama administration has embraced corruption and the abuse of power must be stopped. The danger which faces America is not only a corrupt government and the harm it brings, but that the citizens of this great nation will accept corruption as the norm for politics and will no longer care if the president, his administration and our Congress are corrupt to their very core. It should not matter at this time what our individual politics are, it shouldn’t matter if we consider ourselves to be conservative or liberal, what matters are we the people going to continue to accept a President and Congress which can and does lie with a straight face to the America people, how long are we going to support those who engage in corruption and abuse of the power. Once again let me say the crisis is so great I could care less if you are a republican or a democrat for the question really is are you willing to look the other way and support with your vote a President and Congress that lies to you and continues to sow its seeds of corruption.I know how many feel, you feel the same way I have, you think what choice do we have as all politicians are a bunch of liars. Yes many are only out for themselves and are controlled not the will of the American people but by their own desires and egos. But perhaps it is time we flush out those we know have failed America and replace them with new blood and then hold these new representatives accountable for their actions in the hope that we can have a federal government controlled and accountable by the people of America and not by special interest groups or political ideology. One thing is certain what is going on in Washington is not acceptable and can not be tolerated any longer. November will be our first chance to say no more, let us restore the two party system to America before it is too late and vote against those who have shown themselves unfit for public service.
